We are thrilled to announce a major step forward for healthcare in Alpine County. The MACT Health Board has officially opened a brand new clinic in Markleeville, bringing essential and convenient medical services directly to the community.

Our goal is to ensure you have access to the care you need, right where you live.

Convenient Location and Hours

The new clinic is centrally located inside the Alpine County Health Clinic at 75 Diamond Valley Road. We are ready to serve you during our regular operating hours:

  • Operating Days: Monday through Friday

  • Operating Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Whether you need a quick check-up, are feeling under the weather, or want to connect with a Primary Care specialist, our team is equipped to help. We provide a range of vital services designed to meet your immediate health needs.

  • Acute Non-Emergency Care: Get prompt treatment for common illnesses like the flu, strep throat, urinary tract infections, and sexually transmitted infections.

  • Health Screenings: Stop in for important preventive checks, including blood pressure monitoring and A1C testing.

  • Telehealth Services: We serve as a local hub for virtual Primary Care appointments, allowing you to connect with providers easily from a convenient location.

Removing barriers to healthcare is a top priority for our organization. The Markleeville clinic accepts Medi-Cal as well as private insurance. Furthermore, MACT is contracted with Blue Shield of California, allowing us to provide covered services for Alpine County employees. Please note that standard co-pays may apply depending on your specific insurance plan.
