Specialized Programs & Community Services at MACT
At MACT Health Board, our commitment to your health goes beyond the exam room. We are proud to partner with federal, state, and local organizations to offer specialized programs that provide our patients with expanded access to care, extra support, and essential health services.

VA Tribal Health Program (VA THP)
This program is a partnership with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs designed specifically for American Indian and Alaskan Native (AI/AN) Veterans. As a participant, you can get medical care at MACT, and the VA will cover the cost, eliminating the need for pre-authorizations for most services.
Who it’s for: Eligible American Indian/Alaskan Native Veterans.
Services covered include: Outpatient services, prescription medications, emergency care, telehealth, and some dental and long-term care services.

Family PACT Program
Family PACT (Family Planning, Access, Care, and Treatment) is a California program that offers comprehensive family planning services to help you plan your family and stay healthy. It is designed to give eligible individuals access to free, confidential family planning services.
Who it’s for: Individuals who qualify for the program.
Services offered: A wide range of services to prevent unintended pregnancy and promote reproductive health.
Available at: Mariposa Medical, Women’s Health, San Andreas Medical, and Jackson Medical. Coming soon to Ione Medical.

Comprehensive Perinatal Services Program (CPSP)
CPSP is a Medi-Cal benefit program that provides complete support throughout your pregnancy journey. We are here to ensure you have a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby, with care extending from conception through 60 days after childbirth.
Who it’s for: Eligible pregnant patients.
Services offered: Comprehensive perinatal care to support you and your baby’s health.
Available at: Our Women’s Health clinic in Sonora only.

Smile Keepers Dental Program
MACT is proud to partner with the Smile Keepers program to bring basic dental care directly to students at Tenaya Elementary School in Groveland. This program makes it easy and convenient for children to get the dental care they need without having to miss class or travel.
Who it’s for: Students at Tenaya Elementary School.
Services offered: Basic dental care, including cleanings, exams, and preventive treatments to fight dental decay.

Presumptive Eligibility for Pregnant People (PE4PP)
This program provides immediate, temporary Medi-Cal coverage for prenatal care to qualifying individuals. If you are pregnant and need care right away, this program can cover your initial prenatal services while your full Medi-Cal application is reviewed.
Who it’s for: Qualifying pregnant women and people.
Services offered: Temporary coverage for limited, prenatal-related care.

Enhanced Care Management (ECM) & Community Health Workers (CHW)
As part of California's CalAIM initiative, MACT offers Enhanced Care Management (ECM) to provide an extra layer of support for patients with complex health and social needs. Our Community Health Workers (CHWs) act as your personal guide, helping you navigate the healthcare system, connecting you with community resources, and ensuring all your providers are working together for your well-being.
Who it’s for: Adults and children who may be at risk for hospital visits, adults at risk for long-term care, and those in the Birth Equity population.
Services offered: Person-centered, coordinated care and help addressing social needs that impact health.
Available at: All medical locations and associated services like Behavioral Health, Optometry, and Women’s Health.

Every Woman Counts (EWC) - Coming Soon
Every Woman Counts (EWC) is a program that provides free breast and cervical cancer screenings and diagnostic services. We are working hard to bring this vital service to our community.
Who it’s for: Eligible underserved and low-income individuals.
Services offered: Breast and cervical cancer screenings and follow-up diagnostic services.
Available at: This program will be offered at our Women’s Health location once credentialing is complete.
