Mobile Medical Unit April

For many in our mountain communities, accessing specialized health services can be a challenge. Long drives, balancing work schedules, and navigating complex systems can create barriers to essential care. This April, MACT Health Board, Inc. is taking a proactive step to remove those barriers by bringing their state-of-the-art Mobile Medical Unit directly to you.

A Double Dose of Care: Dental and Behavioral Health

On Wednesday, April 8, the iconic MACT Mobile Clinic will be on the road again. This specialized visit will focus on two crucial pillars of overall well-being: Dental Health Screenings and Behavioral Health Services.

Why Dental Health Screenings Matter

We all know the importance of a great smile, but oral health goes far deeper than appearance. Dental problems can link to broader systemic health issues. A comprehensive screening is your first line of defense. MACT's expert team will conduct on-site screenings to:

  • Identify early signs of decay, gum disease, and other conditions.

  • Provide personalized recommendations for preventative care.

  • Connect individuals with further resources for necessary treatments.

This is a perfect opportunity for a quick, convenient check-up, especially for those who haven’t seen a dentist recently.

Addressing the Whole Person: Behavioral Health Services

Life in the foothills is beautiful, but it can also be stressful. Taking care of your mental and emotional well-being is just as vital as physical health. The MACT Mobile Clinic will be offering confidential, accessible Behavioral Health Services. This could include:

  • Initial assessments for stress, anxiety, and depression.

  • Consultations and resource referrals for ongoing support.

  • A compassionate, private space to discuss any concerns with a professional.

Investing in your behavioral health can improve relationships, boost daily functioning, and increase overall life satisfaction. MACT is committed to providing whole-person care, acknowledging that mind and body are connected.

Mark Your Calendar: Two Convenient Stops

To ensure as many people as possible can access these services, the Mobile Clinic is making two distinct stops on April 8.

Morning Stop (10:00 AM - 12:00 PM)

Where: Railroad Flat Community Center 298 Railroad Flat Rd, Railroad Flat

Afternoon Stop (1:30 PM - 4:00 PM)

Where: Blue Mountain Coalition 364 Main St, West Point, CA
