Life is unpredictable. A sudden fever, a sprained ankle at a weekend sports game, or a cough that just won’t quit—these things never happen on a convenient schedule. Getting a last-minute appointment with your primary care doctor isn't always possible, and a trip to the emergency room can be time-consuming and expensive for non-life-threatening issues.
MACT Health Board, Inc. is proud to provide a solution for our community. We are thrilled to announce that Urgent Care services are now open at our Ione MACT Medical location!
Bridging the Gap When You Need Care Most
Our new Urgent Care service is designed to handle those immediate health concerns that are not life-threatening but require prompt medical attention. This is the perfect option for treating common illnesses and minor injuries, such as:
Colds, flu, and fevers
Sore throats and coughs
Minor cuts and sprains
Rashes and minor skin infections
Earaches and sinus infections
For any life-threatening emergencies, such as chest pain, severe bleeding, or difficulty breathing, please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room immediately.

Insurance & Accessibility
MACT is pleased to accept most major insurance plans to ensure our community has access to the care it deserves.
Please be aware that for our Urgent Care services, we are currently unable to accept Medicare and Kaiser plans. If you have any questions about your specific coverage, we encourage you to call our office ahead of your visit.
